We have two upcoming projects in Midland.
Midland is currently undergoing exciting revitalisation. Below is a recent news article published in the West Australian about the current plans for Midland's historic railway workshops.
The design for Midland’s newest public open space near the historic railway workshops has been unveiled, with $9.7 million allocated in the State Budget for the renovation.
The transformation in the Midland Railway Workshops precinct will include a public space at Railway Square, predicted to be nearly twice the size of Perth's Forrest Place.
Planning Minister Donna Faragher said the Government aimed to revive Midland's industrial and innovative history.
"For more than 90 years, Midland Railway Workshops were the centre of social and community life for generations of railway workers and local people living in the area," she said.
The new area will include alfresco dining, water features and public art but also acknowledge the area's heritage with a "ceremonial" railway line.
"We are creating a dynamic urban village, a place where people can live, work and invest, and an important commercial, residential and recreational activity centre," Ms Faragher said.
Most of the work will be finished next year.

Siteworks have started at Walnut Grove, and on top of the to-do-list is site clearing.
Once site clearing has finished, earthworks can begin. Earthworks include the provision of drainage, plumbing, power, sewerage, stormwater and roads.
The development of Walnut Grove is on schedule, thanks to our team at Dasco Building Group and Exal.
We have just launched our newest project called Walnut Grove.
Walnut Grove represents an exceptional residential and investment opportunity in the emerging suburb of Beckenham. Designed as a 'mini-estate' comprising of 38 privately owned villas and townhouses on individual lots in a survey-strata plan, each home is ready-to-move-in with quality fixtures and fittings, covered carport and your own private courtyard.
Walnut Grove is an opportunity for you to realise your home ownership dreams at an affordable price. Finally, a modern home in an established suburb that cleverly merges contemporary with traditional.
